City Without Hunger

The CWH model is a low cost high impact solution to a big global problem: urban poverty and hunger. The opportunity presented by underutilized and wasted resources in urban communities that can be leveraged to eradicate hunger is not specific to the Israeli context. Thus, if the model succeeds in Israel, this would be a proof of concept that can, and should, be scaled and replicated in poverty-stricken cities throughout the world, and especially in the least developed countries.

As a guiding principle, we are committed to designing and executing this project in a way that will generate the knowledge and Know-how needed for taking CWH to the global scale. To that end,  we will apply rigorous monitoring and evaluation methods to ensure that the data generated would constitute a randomized controlled trial demonstrating the impact of the model and its applicability to other parts of the world.
